Best $500 I`ve ever spent :)
Ah but did the Yamaha course teach you how to park a GS the correct way?

Quirky talked me into it...

Wasn't hard mind you... all his text said was "Registered for the Safari last night" and 5 minutes later, so was I.

See you there for another round, Geoff.

Yep lined up with the rest of ya's again.

Hope that some of the feedback from last year limits some of the crap from last year.
Thinking positive thoughts and Bring it On, looking forward to catching up with a few of ya's.

Currently he's not owning a BMW.
He's having to much fun repairing his busted Multi.

I hear there's going to be another GS Safari the following week for the more experienced riders. Expect a call to ask if you would like to pull out of the first one and Join the second one.

I'm sticking to the first

Cant Wait

Same here, sticking with the first one... it's not like you're going to miss out on anything by doing the second one.
Besides, it means there'll be plenty of lattes in the morning and beers at night if you're on the earlier trip!

Think I'm going with the second now after talking to Trudi. Run in reverse, a few different nightly stopovers and tracks, less lattes but probably as much beer! Just a bit concerned about the MD dilution factor with less riders...

There'll be less of you, so there's more MD to go round! You'll be getting MD overload! Easy fix... more beer!
Either option should be good, so you've probably made the right call. You hard-core gs riders
I told greg to get you to talk Trudi in letting me take the 450... fuel range will not be a problem, it's got 28ltrs, but while you guys are drinking beer, I'll be doing oil changes

Hey Gswadd,

Met you on the last 2 Safari's I'm the bloke that just drinks lattes, might struggle without one or two. Second ride does sound good, Ive put my name down for that, its great country, I reckon they would have done some great research and knowing some of these areas I reckon its going to have a bit of everything. Hopefully nice days but think nights will be cold

See you on the ride

Jake

Bmw gs safari enduro

Got the email?

This year’s BMW GS Safari has been a sell out in 3 days. Wow!
To satisfy the overwhelming demand for this year’s GS Safari, we are planning on staging a second GS Safari event on the following week (27 October - 1 November) called GS Safari-Enduro.

Running a second event allows us to adapt the route (weather permitting) with additional challenging sections that would not suit novice or intermediate riders.

Not suitable for novice/intermediate riders aye?...

Who's up for it?
