Harley Police Bikes?

Any Harley police models out there? Wondering what you have done to yours? Pic of my 2011 FLHP. Pillion seat and stock rear floor boards on order.

My buddy has an older white one. Still has the POLICE stickers on the bags. Pretty cool bike.

Nice find, surprised a 2011 would already be rotated out of the fleet. Where did she come from, miles. etc. We have a few 09's around here at dealerships, but the colors don't look anywhere near as good as yours

Cheers

Here's Mrs. Easy with mine at blast off for a 1,200 mile weekend trip to Memphis, TN last spring.

The bike had only been in the garage 2 weeks at this point. Prior to delivery I had the dealer install street glide mirrors, passenger floor boards, a removable tour pak kit for the king size pack, SunRay heated seat and heated grips. Since then I've gotten bag fillers for the hinge pockets and added a Cee Bailey's windshild, the swoopy one.

This one was never in service either, had 17 miles on it at delivery. Never thought I'd own a full blown touring bike, or a HD but so far so good. It is what it is, and it does that well, and it's cracked the ton on the front stretch of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Just in case anyone is looking for a new one I saw a black Road King model at the HD dealer in Effingham, Illinois over labor day weekend.

I owned this 2001 FLHRP for awhile. I bought it at one year old with about 3000 miles on it. Rode it about 7000 miles in the next year and then had a chance to sell it for $100 less than what I had in it, so it left my stable.

I'm actually planning to buy another one with the new frame over the winter. Good low miles police models always seem to be the best buy available in a big Harley tourer.

Seem like solid bikes, and there is something right about cops riding harley's. The BMW's may be better bikes for CHP duties, involving lots of 90-100+ mph riding, but nothing beats the chrome and burble of a harley.

Ive owned two Glide police baggers both 6 speed versions with the 103. Prolly put 20k on both of them trouble free, Mainly commuting to work and some 3-4 day trips. These bikes are usually the best deal in HD's line up if you can find one that hasn't been beat up too bad. I ll try and post a pic.

Picked up this new '11 this summer and love it. Needed some wind management so got some Baker Wings that clamp on the engine guards. Love it, it's surprisingly fun to ride even in the twisties.

Hard to justify that kind of expenditure on a bike that I won't ride as much as I'd like. Too bad I am a cheapskate, because that is a very nice ride. But if I won the lottery...

Thanks.

It was pretty spendy but I'm thinking I'm keepeing it long enough to absorb the depreciation hit.

I've added a couple things since this was snapped, I'll try to remember to get current pics up in the next couple of days

Whats the thought process behind the amber lens? I've never seen that before.
