Yep, i already have my "dave's book of secret routes" i have started. Looks like some good ones in there, im definitely going to check them out.

I may gear it down, im just gonna ride it for a few weeks and see how she does, but that, sonic springs in the front, and a steering dampner are all likely mods this summer.

Sounds like a plan to meet up dave. I have not yet geared it down, as I am waiting to put some miles on it to see what it needs. I just sold my boat, so im setting aside a little $ for upgrades (sonic springs, dampner if needed, possible russell day long seat, etc).

So its kinda a "wait til I ride it and see" thing, although Kevin says it rides quite nice.

Got out on the strom for a little today, really loving how this rides. I was concerned about the 650 being able to handle it at highway after having the KLR rig before, but it takes it no problem. The car is really planted as well, it feels very very stable and light.

I added a small deflection plate on the subframe, just to protect the delicate undercarriage of the strom. Also made a cheepy cut down windshield tonight. Sorry about the cell quality pics. Going to go out and find some dirt tomorrow to really give her a go

So the question is out there.....

Which do you prefer? The Wing and Kenna or the Strom and Hitchhiker?

I know, I know, comparing apples to oranges but I think I know the answer.

I knew that would be the answer. The Strom/Hitch is a nice hooligan rig.
