Hello yrunotriding.....ya a dirt rider or just pretending.
I can't decide weather to put Big Block tires on my XC.
The re-map really livened it up!

The 3/10 RTE is a maybe for me. I think we should wait two weeks for some better weather. especially since March is so long ........ whataya say!

Not sure if I want to start another thread for the rides.........I hate managing this stuff since I work 10 hours a day on the computer. I'll post on here and someone can help spread it around if they want,.....however I
Don't really need to many more riders as I will also invite the local BMWBMW folks (good for a few) and 1 or 2 riding buddies.

I have done some dirt riding on my Tiger, but I still have the street tires on and it was a bit hairy on loose gravel and mud (BTW it REALLY hates ice), as the bike is somewhat top heavy. I did buy a set of Heidenau K60 Scouts that are rated 50/50 road/dirt. Looking forward to testing them out soon.
Re-mapped with a Power Commander?

But don't you have some "good hubby" points built up after taking her to Alaska?

When you're that far in the hole, it takes a lot of trips to Alaska.

Ok, April. It's time to quit screwing around and actually ride somewhere. Beezer, Dynamick, & I started spitballing locations last night.A few that were thrown out - Catoctin, Rehoboth Beach, somewhere in SoMD.

Suggestions? Should we change the 'kickstands up' time? If we're gonna make changes to the format, better make changes to the first one.

We were just shit-shooting, right? Cause I've got a possible dinner date with my kid... If she calls me back in time.

I can see two sides to a change in 'kickstands up' time:

1) later time (say 5:30-6:00) may allow people to show up who have inflexible work schedules...

2) BUT, leaving at 5:30-6:00 may put us in evening rush hour traffic, and may make the 'get home for the night' time too late for some

Since I have never actually attended an RTE, my vote should be worth much less than the vote of a 'regular'... but moving them to later in the evening, or to Saturday or Sunday (weekend being ideal) would allow me, and possibly others, to attend. If that doesn't work, its no sweat. I'm thinking about trying to organize some weekend rides for this spring/summer so hopefully I'll meet some of you that way.

I'm also a lurker on the Baltimore RTE show.

Everybody has everything on the weekend. The attraction to RTE is that it is not on Sat or Sun. There are people riding motorcycles that don't have Sat and Sun off.

Going to show up as soon as I get over this years cold. had it now for a month.

disston and other lurkers. You know any of you can just show up at the designated eatery. Especially if said restaurant is closer to you than our meet-up place.

I'm feeling better really. Only had a fever one day. Was only in bed for two days one week and one day the next week but I think I'm going to live. I have pretty much decided that next year I will do the flu shot which I've never taken before. Tha'ts maybe a clue to how bad I felt that one day.

I'll be showing up some Monday if the weather is acceptasble.
