When you're inconveniencing the rest of the public for no reason, someone is going to get pissed off. Once they are pissed off, you have no idea how they are going to respond. It's sorta stupid to willfully piss people off and at the same time, expect those pissed off people to respond in an expected and polite way.
That I agree with you 100% . I was disagreeing that the riders were "worse than the car driver" as declared by Montague.

Can't argue with that....

These days it doesn't seem to take much to piss people off. We have no idea how long the driver was held up before he pulled his idiot maneuver.

I found it interesting that the newscasters actually sided with the "bikers". Usually we're the bad guys.

I also think that using HD in the title of this thread was stupid and shows the OP's ignorance. I mean how difficult is it to distinguish between a sport bike and a HD?

Agreed it is a royal pain when the road is taken up like this but the news people said from the information they've gathered the bikes were said to be travelling at the speed limit.

You let a Volvo catch up, and overtake you?

Motorcycles..... you're doing it wrong.

How about when the first pirate asshole blocks an intersection stopping traffic so the remaining 90 nonconformists can pull through?

Illegal and dangerous!

I am sure you will get some who say otherwise.

This could apply to many threads in this forum, high beams, loud pipes, illegal lane splitting, illegal passing, going significantly faster than traffic, bicycles on the road, group rides, and so on, yet some will argue till they're blue in the face that its ok, say "I don't care", or think its ok to "teach them a lesson".

All arguments and debates aside, most bad things happen because no thought was given to the possible consequences, or common scene was totally ignored.

a bunch of HD riders going below the speed limit?

Be kind.

They were probably going flat out.

You dumbass.

Obviously sarcasm is completely lost upon you.

Of course there isn't a single HD in the group... but based upon the stereotypical bullshit constantly spewed by yourself and others in this forum you would think a rolling roadblock would have to be caused by a group of pirates.

Christ I can't believe how many people posted in this thread without noticing.... lmao
I'm actually amazed no one made a 'lay er down' comment...

Speaks tons about the closed mindedness of so many so called 'motorcyclists.'
Enthusiasts my ass. Bunch of damn sheeple is what we got here.

As for not knowing the difference between a sportbike and a HD.... check my profile and then we'll talk about your ignorance.

This appears to still being ignored.

Motorcyclists are our own worse enemies, you wouldnt get any other form of transport making it out it was their fault. Even if it was true, which it isnt.
