Moose Run AMA dual sport - August 2-4th, Walden Colorado

The third annual Moose Run AMA dual sport ride will be August 2-4th, 2013 in Walden, CO. This year's event is benefiting Blue Ribbon Coalition, Trails Preservation Alliance, and Stay the Trail.

The ride format will be the same as in the past. There will be A, B, and C loops. Registration starts Friday night. Saturday will be a very full day, regardless which route you pick. The A/B loop will be ~130 miles with less than 10 miles of pavement. A gas stop will be available. Sunday is shorter, since the AMA insurance turns into a pumpkin at 4pm.

More details to follow. We're in the AMA calendar. The event website should be up soon.

Hmmmm..... Maybe but the North America Africa Twin Rally is the weekend before. So many rides -- so few weekends.

All of the above. I will post the rating scale later.

FYI, there will be sound testing at registration. Last year, we were soft on riders with bikes that were well over the sound limit. This year they will be turned away. If you think your bike is loud, get it tested ahead of time.

Edit: here's the ride rating scale.

I did the C Loop last year with my KLR. What a great saturday ride. Met a lot of great people! The saturday night dinner was awesome! I'll be back this year on the 950.

IN!

Definitely in for this one. Rode the B loop last year, will do the same this year on the "new" 450.

Is that religious cult going to be there again, trying to baptize and circumsize my bike and what not?
