Fair enough critique. I would note that magazines that rely on freelance contributors, as most do, have to trust in the journalistic professionalism of those contributors. Kinda risky, but that's the business. But RoadRUNNER does apply high standards, I can attest from experience, and seems to do what it can to assure that contributors get it right. But ultimately, it's up to the contributor to do his or her job professionally.

Another example was an article with a picture of the rider crossing a bridge, except you could see the kick stand down and supported so that the bike was vertical. Last is that the bike reviews sound like they came from the marketing literature. It's a travel magazine, give a review on what it's like to travel on the bike, carry stuff, and live with it for a few days on the road. Just my 2 cents.

Nov/Dec issue

Saw some pics of my town in the last issue.
Ewe needs to conact me next time he does one of these rides. I'd love to show him some of the western slopes hidden gem routes.
I have a shamrock tour idea based out of Ridgway, Colorado. Started writing it a few years ago when I lived there. It has streat route with alternate dirt routes to cover the same four leaf idea.
I find your lack of faith in the force disturbing.

New Subscriber Fail

RoadRunner is offering a special for 1yr at $20, so I thought that I would give the magazine another shot. Especially because they have a digital issue and iPad app and read most of of my magazine on my iPad offline when on planes.

BUT, turns out the app has nothing to do with your magazine subscription. Completely separate entities offering the same content but no way to link them. Ok, that's odd but I figured I could download the digital version from the website to read offline. NOPE. RoadRunner has no function to download the magazine. Oh you can read the digital version, but only on the website connected to the internet.

If anyone from RoadRunner is still on this board, take this as a customer experience fail. The content you provide should be seamless across the digital platforms, and should be allowed to be consumed as the customer desires. In simpler terms, as a customer of the magazine content, I expect to be able to read it based on my preferences, independent of your corporate distribution arrangements.

Sorry for the rant folks but business practices that lag behind the technology available, hit my hot button.
