I camped in Hot Springs this past Saturday. That is one VERY LOUD Train that came through sometime between 2-4 a,m, I counted 5 locomotives, since I could hear them about 5 minutes before they came through.

I'm planning to take a little cat- nap during the rally, so I can stay up partying till past whenever that SOB comes barreling through!

All the roads around there were awesome. I've decided to ride my street bike to the rally, since the little XT225 isn't set up for hauling all the stuff for keeping me warm & comfy.

It's a drinking game...when you hear a train you have to chug a beer.

This will be my first time there. Do I need to bring earplugs?

Actually the river drowns out all the noise. Nobody complained about hearing my snoring last year.

Where does that train go to/come from anyway? All I know is that they go real slow past both Hot Springs and the Wedge. Hobo beer run?
