I went to a DS event (of which we do not speak) at HS campground hosted by a young man (of whom we also do not speak on this forum ) some years ago, I was not warned about the train. I almost jumped through the top of my tent in the middle of the night when I heard that damn horn.

All the roads around there were awesome. I've decided to ride my street bike to the rally, since the little XT225 isn't set up for hauling all the stuff for keeping me warm & comfy.

Have enough beers and you won't hear that train, at least in my experience.

Saturday night dinner.

OK, dinner for Saturday night is set.

Slow cooked, smoked pulled pork BBQ
Hash brown casserole with cheese, and BACON!
Southern style green beans with onion and BACON! (gonna make you slap yo mama!) ((yeah, I like BACON!))
Dessert and Tea (like anybody wants something besides beer....)

PJ and I will be there Thursday night and we are thinking of making a pot of baked beans, some cole slaw, and throwing some chicken on the grill if there is enough interest. If we get enough people who want to eat, se will get it together and have it ready around 7pm. Just throw some $$ in the pot if you eat.

Hey r1ng3l78, if you still have room at your campsite, I'll split it with you.

I just joined here while searching for new places to ride(I slinked over from Thumpertalk) and I think the Nottarally3 sounds like a good place to start. Y'all seem quite certifiable....I like
