The "Hooligan" Ride

Thanks to my friend Dennis for all the work during the last year he put in figuring out where we were riding, and remembering it all. He put on two days of really good riding with old and new friends. After five days of riding, we are resting today.

Sorry to those who got a little dusty and pelted with some rocks on the first gravel section on Friday.....next time just twist your wrist and show us your rear tire. I refuse to grow up.

Rick

I had a great time too. Hot Springs is a perfect place for Nottarally. You guys were right about the train, I don't even think it was running by the third day.

Next year I might have to jump on and see how long it takes to get to Asheville.

Thanks Morans, for helping me get medicated, and thanks to the Doc for patching me up.

Shane, Kenny, PJ, Mark, Barbara and Ed- thanks for picking up my slack come checkout time.

Going for x-rays tomorrow. Seems like something might not be in the same place it was, last time I looked.

Coming around a corner on Harmon's Den, (gravel) going a bit too fast, only to find an SUV right where I wanted to be...Couldn't get slowed down fast enough, tried to go around him but washed the front end out, fell down, went boom.

Doc says I need to get the softball in my elbow drained, which seems like a terrible waste of liquor, considering that I've been trying to fill the damn thing up for three days.

You don't want pics.

You did plenty, thanks for helping me with getting my bike sorted.

And thanks to Dave for keeping us in wood.

Kyle for keeping us in coffee.

Mile for keeping up with the rides, an all the other ride leaders scheduled an otherwise.
A special thanks to Dennis an Rick for two great rides put together on short notice. An Chris for all the pics an video.

Kenny an PJ for the great dinners. Excellent as always.

All the folks who pealed choped an sliced for Silke's Gulaschsuppe. If I tried to list everybody I'm sure I would leave someone out.

And as always thanks Cuttle, this wouldn't happen without you.
