Sheeze Hunter, that sucks, especially the potential loss of that liquor. Thanks for the pic's, I know we all look at these kind of pic's and go, "whew...better him then me"

I did a face plant on KTM Mike's ride on Friday. Handlebars went 90 degrees on a straight stretch of gravel, nothing hurt but pride. It didn't dawn on me until the next morning to check tire pressure....front was at 7lbs

A quick GoPro on Hurricane Creek:

Working on the other videos from this ride. The sun was playing havoc with the lens since we were climbing into it so I am dumping most of the video.

Btw, what link do I use to embed the YouTube video here instead of just a clickable link like above?

Thanks again to Ray (Truck6driver) for giving me a ride and Craig (PineyMountainRacing) for sharing his campsite. Also a big thank you to Dennis, Rick, & Chris for allowing us to follow them on the nottanobbyride. I meet some really great people but regret I didn't meet (or remember meeting) more of you. After 110 miles at near race pace trying to keep up with Rick, Gary, Dave & Jon on Friday and another 107 miles of dirt on Sat I was too tired to drink much on Sat and crashed about 9:30-10pm and slept till 9:30 the next day.

Also a big thanks to everyone else who helped with food, shirts, Jeff for the beer, etc.....

Looks like you guys will have to put up with me next year

That was our plan Turtle; ride hard, meet new friends, don't get hurt, and go to bed early so there would be more of that great BBQ for us. We were glad to share with you'all what we do every week end, ride.
Thanks
Dennis

Nottapics

So, halfpint and I had trouble getting ready in time to make any of the organized rides (actually we were worried we'd get left in the dust by the "old n slow" ride).

Headed down 209 towards Meadowfork and Max Patch, and ran into... fancyIndigo. Didn't realize she worked this end of town. They headed north, we started down Hurricane and cut over on Wesley Creek, looped back around on Max Patch and headed up to the bald. I'm glad we did since it looks like Wesley Creek is getting paved, at least the section coming off Max.

doin the Max Patch chill, halfpint couldn't understand why we had to walk up to the top when we had perfectly good dual sports.

After Max Patch we headed north to see if we could get across Upper Shut-In. Pulled up on Rattlesnake Gap and saw a "beat to sh*t" DR650 with bald tires and Tractor Supply tail light and left turn signal being ridden by knybanjo. He was kind enough to drag us around for the rest of the day.

halfpint said he wanted to "take it easy" and stay on the gravel roads, knybanjo proceeded to lead us back down Max Patch and over to Snowbird and Martha Sundquist.

I get dizzy just looking at the pictures

my ride home Sunday was nice and smooth...

until south Georgia, then it got very wet and bumpy. But it still beat driving for 12 hours

another great NOTTARALLY, thanks to Hunter (get well soon dude) and Silke, Kenny, Kevin, Dave and Shane - and everyone that helped behind the scene! Even though it's just a Nottarally, I know it's a lot of work. Looking forward to next year.

You're going to have to stay a little cleaner next time. We do have standards....

Nice riding with you and all the others, like Dave said it was "Stupid Fun"
