Rear Brake Reservoir

So I washed my bike yesterday. During the wash I noticed as I compressed the rear brake lever bubbles started to come up through the water and suds left around reservoir. Should it be a complete seal or is this okay? Thanks guys.

If the bubbles were coming out of the piston shaft rubber bellows area, that would be normal. It helps to keep debris away from the piston area and is not sealed completely
