Good morning,
I stumbled across this forum and subsequently this thread this morning. I recently sold my KTM 300xc with the intention of buying a klr. However the off roader in me won over and I wound up with a KLX 400 and an XR 250r .
Right now they are both registered for the road. I would love to meet up and do some exploring with other members. I am on the nh seacoast . I have been riding for about twelve years, but recently returned to dual sport riding from 2 stroke stand up jet skiing.

The rides like this one you guys are planning... is road plate good enough or would I need a Maine off road sticker? Is a new hampshire sticker valid in Maine ? I know , total noob questions but I figure best to hear it from the horses mouth than pages of regulations.

Thanks,

Bern.

You offer crash-damage insurance for $9 like the car rental companies, right?

In...

It was MY 640 that FTB used 2 years ago! I'll be riding circles around him this year on my "new" 640 (Enduro). Old KTM versus new BMW. Gauntlet. Thrown!

Looks like a great ride by the way, looking forward to it.

The NH tag should be fine, we only go in a couple atv trails for very short peroid of time, 99% of the bikes going wont have an ATV reg so ride on. not saying its legal but we shouldn't have any problems.

My cunning plan if anyone wishes to join me.

Leave home (Manchester NH area) about 6:00. Breakfast at Betty's Kitchen in North Hampton at 7:00. Rendezvous at the high school at 8:30 for 9:00 departure.

I'm a little concerned that I'm not in shape enough for this, but if you'll have a old fat guy tagging along I'll go for

IN.
