here's another one for you all ....the pancake shop in Bredbo. the old girl who runs the joint is a rude old bitch. we had some food there which was over price to the shithouse , and when we finish , she ask us to get going on our bikes , because the bikes out the front looked bad and customers wouldn't come because they would frightened of us mean bikies. and yes , no local riders by fuel off that other prick @ the p.b.

We were there last week during the Flinders Classic, Pissing down rain & we had to get up the Gorge before the expected wall of water.
one of our party asked for fuel & was told "we don't have fuel"

The good news is a consortium is looking to buy the shit hole, maybe it'll improve.
In the mean time FUCK 'EM!!!

I wasn't joking about the flood we got in to Angorichina 1/2 an hour before the road was shut.

Lousy service

Reading this post reminded me that I should never buy fuel at that BP ever again.
A few years back on the way home from the Alpine Rally my fuel was very low and not realizing there was another servo in town, I stopped at the BP.
Suffice to say that the service was rude, aggressive and unexpected.
When I went to pay with Credit Card I received a tirade of abuse and whinges.
After that I stopped at the bakery and got chatting to one of the locals. I related the bad attitude I had come across and the chap I was talking to (a local business owner), reiterated my thoughts and said that most of the local people would be only too happy to help the owner of the BP move out ASAP.
I vowed then never to use that joint again.
Thanks for the reminder

Cheers
Glenn

In 07 on the way to Coffs, we called in there in the pissing rain for a coffee and a top up, the bowsers were locked up, the old fella eventually came out, locked the shop, filled 1 bike then re-opened and took the money, he repeated this for all the bikes that needed fuel, need less to say, several of us decided not to re-fuel and just have something to eat. All the time the old fella was serving us he kept up a non stop tirade about dickhead fucking motorcyclists out in the rain.

Once in the shop 1 of the girls asked to use the toilet, his reply in his words, "there's 2 buildings here, the shop and the shitter, this is the bloody shop " the shitter was just that, I reckon that a building site porta loo looked like the crown casino toilets compared to that shitter.

I came back through there in 2010, the same grumpy prick was there with the same attitude, I didn't need fuel but did piss on his "for sale" sign out the front.

I don't understand why someone that has lost there enthusiasm for a customer based business would continue to work in the industry.
Hes gone now the new owners are grouse!

we pulled up there before closing when the old emdale cu*t had it as we reffered to him and he told us to piss off he didnt want to undo the bowesr!

hed been like that since I was a kid his time was well and truly up!

EXACTLY the same routine with me - rude & aggressive & then the credit card was his excuse for a blue (and he got one hehehe).

Christina and Virginia bought the Emmadale pub after discovering it on their trip to the Ulysses 2010 AGM. A big move from Woodford QLD but reports are that the place has been transformed to a must-stop that is very popular with the grey nomads on two and four wheels.
