I went to the other servo in Adaminaby on the way to the Alpine Rally, and had the opposite experience. He wanted to talk all afternoon . I used to have a sidecar, he said. I had to wind up the conversation after a while as I wanted to get there before dark. Very helpful though.

Ah, no wonder he's grumpy, no room to swing a cat!
The goodwill is he wants to stay on as an employee, he's a "customer service specialist"

I think I'll ring the agent tomorrow and get hold of the financials, Russ! Should be an interesting read.

New owners

I was in Adaminaby this week.
The good news is that the BP has been sold.
So the grumpy Bert has gone.
I have heard that it will either be changing into a shell or 7/11. the new owners are believed to have 30 servos around the state.

They had the fire going so toasty and warm .

The trout is all painted up again as well.

I still like the folks on the Shannon's flat side of town, they run the NRMA service, and have always been great to deal with.

Then the thread should now be changed to "Applaud the Adaminaby BP" I will be there in September and will visit to try out its facilities ;)

I dropped by this servo last week. Now run by a young Indian bloke. He's re-doing the interior and is set to take on, if I recall, Shell in the near future.

Pleasant and smiling.
