A lot of the trails out of Sargents go pretty high (over the Continental Divide); so are open later. It is a great riding area though.

Check out the 4" thick ice:

The west end of RBT is open (western terminus to US285), with a few ride-through snow banks.

Southeast of Bear Cr; not much snow to speak of. He's riding the iced-over creek.

The RBT is open from the western terminus at Silver Cr to Kerr Gulch, plus the section south of Cottonwood Cr to Rainbow Camp. There are a few ride-through snow banks south of Poncha Mtn.

The only remaining sections to clear are north and south of Hayden Cr Rd, 5 miles each way. The southern section includes the 'last snow bank' from last year. Where's Dudley?

The last work session for the RBT was today.

Between Hayden Cr Rd and Kerr Gulch; still a bit of snow to be found.

The site of last year's 'last snow bank' - pretty tame this year, about 2.5 weeks later in the season.

Last year's snow bank.

The slab on Wolf Creek, the official last foot of trail to be cleared/verified.

My thanks to all who helped, locals and a few new faces from out of town.

Now when is the CDT going to be accessible?
Marshall Pass Rd

Ditto.

RBT is riding really well right now! Looks like clearing all the deadfall was less than trivial.

Thanks!
