bar risers on a xt250?

Anybody put bar risers on? Did you have to lengthen any lines?

I did, the lines are plenty long, you should check out xt225.com, lots of good info there for your bike

Tusk handlebar risers, like 20 bucks shipped, have the same ones on my bike now, they work great.

+1. I've got the same one's on my bike. Took about 5 minutes to install. No changes necessary.

Why not skip the risers and just go to a higher bend ATV bar. They're usually 2-3" higher than the standard bars. Buy steel bars that are low buck that way if you don't like 'em you can swap back without blowing a lot of quid.

Look up the various bars and look at the numbers. Renthal (big $) actually makes some higher bars with the same bend as the lower bars on pull back and width.

Hmmm, that's a good idea. I better figure out something quick, I'm going to Jimmy Lewis' next weekend.....
