My bike is out of warranty and need something to change the "service due" date since I recently changed the oil. Or any suggestions on an alternative, other than leaving it wrong. Thanks in advance!
Sound like a good idea. Note that the GS911 is licensed to 10 VIN numbers. So someone would have to be willing to drop 1. I think road side assistance does not effect your licenses. But doing the service reset probably does.
Some of the BMW Owners Club chapters have one of the "unleashed" GS-911 units that do not have the VIN cap which gets passed around among club members ....
Unfortunately, I have not met any other riders in my small town of Panama City Beach. I will keep looking though...
Would be nice if there was a searchable link (or sticky) with folks and their location who have the professional one and don't mind sharing... I think I'm one of those folks ... so if you're anywhere between SF and Tahoe... :)
I am in Panama City Beach. A sticky sounds good, as mentioned. It would be great to do a nice ride your way into Louisiana.
