Leaving my rig and trailer in the Smokies !! Please advise

Looking for some advice from the guys that live around the smokies. I'll be driving my rig , with bike in tow, through the smokies west to east . After arriving in Cherokee , my plan was to find a hotel that will let me leave my rig and trailer. For the week while I jump on the bike. And tour the area .
I'm curious to know if it'd be better to get off the "Rez" , shoot to Bryson city. And leave it there instead ? Any advice on a good safe place would be great
Thanx

I wouldn't leave anything in Cherokee - Bryson City or Maggie Valley may be better options.
I spent a week there with the family in March. Not much was going on in Maggie Valley and Bryson City, but with the casino in Cherokee you never know who is rolling through. You might find your stuff in one of the pawn shops there when you return.

Just my two cents...

Ok that's what I was Afraid of. I have a friend in Asheville. Maybe it's best to leave it at his place . I just wanted to save the time. of backtracking from Asheville back to Cherokee to catch the beginning of the BRP. Which is some of my favorite.

Maggie Valley or Waynesville

I would say you can find an inmate in these areas to help if the campground doesn't work ... But I'm sure they will take care of you at a motorcycle campground!

Have fun!
