Official GS worry beads needed

We really are missing a great opportunity here; he could sell thousands of them, especially if they had a Touratech logo on them.

They would be to help the poor n00b GS rider who is so worried about everything that could go wrong with their bike, that most likely won’t.

Example of an actual GS owner; to be fair, this photo was taken at a BMW National rally in the mid 90's, she owned an 1100GS, if I remember right.

Each bead could have engraved on it a part name that may have failed on a GS at some point and was reported here on ADVrider. The Buyer could then buy the beads, rub them obsessively and no longer have to post on the site about their concerns about what may fail next on their bike. .

You know, like;

The Hall sensor, bead
The alternator belt, bead
Cam Tensioner bead, this bead should be on the left side of the necklace.
The clutch slave cylinder, bead
The spline bead, hell that would take up at lest three different beads…
The Bearing, bead, holy cow! We could put every bearing name on a different bead, even wheel bearings now….
Rear drive, bead, hell, of course, two or three beads need that engraved on it
Cable junction box, bead, more for the oil head crowd
Is my GS gonna fail on a long tour in another country on a trip I’m probably never really gonna take, bead.
My GS is gonna catch fire if I let it idle, bead

We could have an after market section of beads.

How come the Adventure Rider Workshop won’t call me back? Bead
My Jesse’s don’t fit, bead

Think about the great threads we would get, for instance;

“Those of you who that have not had any GS problems, how often do you rub your beads?” “How do you rub them?”

How did I forget that bead! The beauty with that one is if we expand bead production to other M/C brands, it will fit right in..

Don't forget the "am I getting on the bike the right way" bead. The beads are a good idea good idea but if BMW sells them they will cost about $750.

If you ride them like they are stolen you never need the beads. I found that my BMR bike is like my BMR cars.

Z4 drove the wheels off of it, sliding around corners, right foot always on the floor. No failures

740 iL pampered, drive it speed limit +8 (Just cuz), no hard corners, *@*#*#*$*#* thng is always in the shop.

1200GS pin it on accleration, slide the rear braking. No failures.

EWS bead, engrave it with a hologram so it only shows up in certain light.

Spokes or alloys bead; breaks in half if you order the wrong rims.

LED taillight bead; have to plug it into the CAN-Bus to see if it works or not.

And now we have the "should I get Enduro ESA" bead!

Keep those ideas coming and then watch my thread in Vendors..

I'll be adding them to my inventory of decals and patches...

Brilliant!!!

We can even have some made with the ADV logo on each bead.. or ADV and BMW roundels... then, we could expand this to the Orange forum.. and work our way down the list..
