GOLD for ?????Whatever?

I am a weekend prospector from Reno, NV. I have been prospecting the gold fields of eastern Nevada and the Mother Lode District of Northern California for years now. I bring home a few dozen troy ounces of gold every year. I usually keep the larger nice nuggets and specimens, and melt down the smaller flakes and dust.
At the moment I have about 60 TOZ of gold in various states. I usually melt the gold down and then put it through the process of Aqua Regia, which removes other metals like copper, silver, iron, and lead. At the completion of the acid treatment I end up with a final product that is about 22-24 karat gold.
If you want some pretty gold for your collection, or for investment, PM me or leave a message on this thread. I will refine on an as needed basis.
At the moment I have 46.3 grams (1.633 TOZ) of refined gold. I have acid tested the gold and it is still visible under the 22 karat acid, meaning this gold is somewhere between 22-24 karat. Unfortunately I don't have any 24 karat acid left. This not pure gold, it is close, but for a back yard refiner, this is about as close as you can get. 22 karat is 91% pure, so my guess is that this gold is 93-96% pure. At todays spot gold value of $1407.50 per TOZ, The value of this piece is between $2137.56 and $2206.51.
To make someone a great deal, I am asking $2000 USD or trade. I like the option of trade so let me know what you have.

In the pictures below you will see how beautiful this piece is. I have used a dremmel to polish the surface and remove most of the flux residue and borax.

I appreciate the bump. Gold just took a major hit, but it is already recovering. I am pouring another 6 ounces this week. I'll post pictures later.

I need to sell enough or trade for a 660 Tenere! If I can find one in the states.

Don't get your hopes up

For a Yamaha Tenere 660. There are a couple in the US as of now, but I don't think that anyone has been able to permanently import one yet....

I increased the gold amount to 2.224 toz. The price of gold right now is $1470. That means this little bit is worth over $3000. I will be adding more as the weeks go by.

I am about to melt another 6 toz of glorious gold this week. I'm sure someone out there is looking at gold for investment purposes.
Gold just recently dropped about $300 an oz. Now is the perfect time to get some because it always jumps after it drops. Just look at the last 7 years. After every major drop, there has been an almost 3 fold jump.

Out of curiosity: None of my business really and not to offend but why try to sell it here rather than established gold exchange?

No offense taken. Im not interested in selling the gold. I have plenty that I can sell at any time. I just thought it would be an interesting trade. People are looking for creative ways to get the things they want, this is just my contribution. Last mobth I traded about 30k in gold for a large parcel of buildable property. You never know what someone might have to trade. Its kind of an adventure.

Are you interested in Western Australian nuggets?!

I have a 12.2 gram natural nugget I was looking to sell or trade.

It's about an inch long, heavy and beautiful :)
