Been super busy with work and prepping for the trip (van, maps, bikes, etc, etc). Here is a pic of one of the trail bikes ready for action. It is parked next to a stock ct110 to give a comparison. The Lifan engines sound nice and tight. We are currently tuning them and figuring out what sprocket ratio to use.

Where did you get the tractor seat upholstered? They were good on the farm, should be good on the trail.

They're going to have to be. Most, if not all, of the TAT is on public roads.

street legal is a gray area. they at minimum need plates and insurance, headlight and stop/tail. you could probably get away without blinkers and highbeam headlight or horn.

Question snorkle/intake

I am interested in the detail of your intake snorkel and filter. Please post pictures and a description if you can find the time. The stock snorkel plastics melt and are no longer water tight, replacement parts are pricy.

Plan to take my stock CT90 on 500 mile, 3 day camping trip starting May 17.

THANKS!

Street Legal ?

Interesting enough, it is my understanding straight from Sam that the whole TAT can be run on a side by side ATV like a razor. I don't think the ATV's can be registered on the street, but apparently in all the TAT states the law allows them on public roads ? (maybe they still have to be registered). They are not allowed on the roads in Virginia, but in West Virginia they allow them unregistered, unplated and uninsured on secondary roads with no deviding line down the middle. Does anyone know if this is possible. I think it would be a blast to take my wife on the TAT on a side by side. No way I am doing two up on a KLR.
