this is how you put together a front end... Ok, techy motorcycle talk ahead.... How do you mate Honda XL125 forks to Honda SL185 triple trees and a Honda CT90 stem?? Well, Im about to show you how. We tack welded the bottom bearing race on to the CT90 stem. Giving it a grind to be nice and smooth.

Using a hole saw to make a centering groove underneath the top triple tree. This will allow the top triple tree to self center itself on the top bearing nut.
