Spare tube storage under beak

It is no deeper than the beak itself so would presume it should be ok...only one way to find out I guess

It doesn't look to me like the beak is capable of holding up much more weight than itself. GH

I wouldn't.


For starters...mine doesn't have a beak...but for seconds, it's fully exposed to damage up under there.

I used to carry spare tubes everywhere. Now I put my faith in the tyre slime. It's done the job for 55000 kms (apart from the 3 inch nail and the inch long tear incident)
