06 950 Adv: Replaced clutch slave with an Oberon. The pull is different when hot.

I replaced my stock clutch slave with an Oberon from CJDesigns. I used HD Fork oil in the master. The pull felt fine after bleeding, but after a ride the clutch pull seemed like there was a lot of play in the handle before it engaged. Is this normal?

Almost certainly you have air trapped somewhere. I'd go for bleeding it again. Try doing it in the opposite direction to that which you used the last time. So if you used a "traditional method" of filling up the reservoir, pumping the lever and holding it, then cracking open the nipple for a second or two before closing it, then releasing the lever; use a syringe to pump from the nipple end. Or vice-versa.

No guarantees, but I'd be gobsmacked if that didn't work.

Cheers... Paul
