Great team reporting guys, did you indulge in a swim in the Mindo town pool?

I have to ask, I'm a poolman.

Well....we did drop the kids off at the pool. Does that count?

Thanks for the nudge poolman.

Waking up in Mindo it's time for coffee. I stroll down to the corner and up towards the pizza shop we ate at the night before taking in the scene next door before going in and ordering...

Reminds me of the scene inside my head when attempting calculus.

I need coffee. Going inside I order.

Lo and behold they have real brewed coffee!

While enjoying the first cup of the day I watch the milk truck roll up...

Other than the fact that it's being hauled by a woman driving a Kia it's like a step back in time.

Let's have a closer look at that electrical hookup from the night before...

...looks like it meets code...

Coffee done I make my way back towards the room and see if Dave's moving around yet checking out the Land Cruiser along the way...

Don't see too many of these back home - not the truck version, at least.

Long about this time Dave appears and we head back down town in search of breakfast...

Downtown we find breakfast and the traditional coffee...

We also fit in some people watching...

Note the dude standing up riding in the police pickup in the distance. This spurs yet another discussion on where we're headed here with lawyers, guns and money.

After breakfast and coffee we take another stroll through town to see just what we missed last night.

Instead, we find the pickup passenger and the reason for all the urgency...

...they've got a water break at the police station!

More random shots along the way...local cement product yard...

...

...Ecuadorian plumber's crack...

...

...almost as many dogs as CR...

...

...not finding what we missed, we head back to the room...

I see something entirely different and more sinister......

Like what goes on behind closed doors at Minnie mouses house.

A Disneyland orgy

Pluto's burying ground

Goofy's chamber of horror

Micheal Eisners back yard.....

Great thread EC and WW!

Sorry to be a complainer, but the blue Land Cruiser is more photogenic from the opposite side:

It certainly is a small world, the LC belongs to Luis, owner of the Hostal Caskafessu.

Sorry to intrude on your fine reporting,

Seems to me I recall waking up in the middle of all this once when I took acid.

I'll admit I have a soft spot for the old FJ40s as I had one in my yout'.

Original drivetrain and a front end that would toss you across the interstate at random intervals.

Glad yer following along.

Looking back through my field book notes today I'm reading, "Woke up ALL night - 11...2...3:30...4...4:30...5...6... Rooster started @ 2am!!!"

I'm now questioning the awesomeness of that pizza.

And... what's different about your sleeping pattern this night, than any other?
