There must be some archive photos around here somewhere, but couldn't find 'em

Passed by there a few weeks ago with SpeedGee68 and TwoWheelsGood.
All three on mighty 9X0 ADVs

Archive shot from '08 (just after the big fires).

AH, Good old Brent AKA Riceless. Well he and a few others are exceptions. At least the beast had knobbies. I would actually take some kind of riding course or ride with someone that knows how to get these things through the rough crap. A few years back in KM, there was a guy who rode all those trails on a 950.

Honestly haven't ridden all of them on the 950
At a certain point it wouldn't be fun anymore, and then... well... whats the point

Ok, everyone can stop looking for Bolt, he has been found.

Clarification of the rule, trucking your dirt bike to the trailhead is fine, trucking the bike to the tag is not. This is about riding not driving. Duh!

You can't fire me, I quit.

Yeah, yeah. I know. That was just for reference

I was gonna try to get up there last weekend, but caught a cold on flight home from India that turned into bronchitis
Ben coughing my lungs out for over a week

Maybe I'll pick up the tag on my way back from the Noob Rally

Looks like I will be out of the tagging business for at least the next month or so due to my little stupid ass tire experiment.

I'm having to eat crow and agree with Jeff that these offroad tags so far are all about easy stuff. Nothing challenging.

Hopefully someone here will grab the easy Big Bear tag and post up a good one like mine that actually takes a real dirtbike and some hardcore riding to get to.

I still can't even believe I actually made it to this point with those POS tires!! At least my intentions were good. The ride was not even fun before the crashes. I had to concentrate just to keep the bike upright!

What a rough fucking week at work! I was warned by my riding buddies not to use street tires in the dirt. This is the result. No doctor. Good old pulled hamstring and limping with pain in every step! LESSON LEARNED!!!

Yep, I only run knobbies or trials tires on my bikes. Nice bruise

I remember you warning me as well. In your own way of course, by stating what POS tires I had. It ended up being 100% true!

Funny thing is I was being a cheap ass to save a few bucks with a long lasting tire. I can deal with knobbies on the street. They are actually not that bad. Very predictable on asphalt. So I burn up a 100 bucks worth of tires in a month or two. It sure in the fuck is better than being laid up not riding at all!!

Hi Guys.
I was solo the first time I stumbled across this place (tag).

So I left the Mighty at the bottom & walked up.

Here's a video of an early attempt.

This RR has some good pics and vids of that tag hill.

Hey Brent!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for talking me into a Beta and getting me in contact with Dave. I love my 520RS.

The Betas are great until the plastic oil pump drive gear fails in the middle of nowhere....plastic? Really?
