I ordered one from SW-MOTECH:
https://www.motorradgarage.com.au/pr...roduct_id=1384

Now next in list is some real hand guards ...
Looking at barkbusters

Hehe, I've heard many names for that colour:

Did 300Km on it (50Km on dirt)

Noticed:

1. seems to have a little less power compared with F800GS (maybe extra Kgs are like a pillion passenger)
2. rear shock feels better on dirt
3. love the seat :)
4. crap skid-plate -> ordered new one
5. crap hand guards -> have to find some ...
6. screen: is throwing all air into my eyes ...
7. not sure how existing engine bars will protect the upper fairing....

For hand guards, I bought the Touratech guards and have been very satisfied. I was concerned that they are not solid aluminum, but as they told me - better to flex than to bend with such a heavy bike - and it's held true so far. They are very solid, and with the extensions do a great job of deflecting the wind.

If you do buy them, I mounted the extensions with the nuts facing outward - I cut-down the bolts so they are flush without the excess protruding beyond the nuts.

If I did go with aluminum I would have purchased the BarkBusters.

Hey GSA owners,

I posed this question in another thread but can anyone tell me how tall your GSA windscreen is from top to bottom (main headlight)? Thanks!

The shield measures: 12,5 inches on the center from the headlight to the top and 15.5 inches on the sides

I hope it helps

Happy 2014!!

Hand Guards

With the GSA windshield, does anyone with TT handguards know if they contact the screen at full steering lock?

Just wondering.

Cheers
