Picked up a GSA

I was torn between a standard F800GS and the GSA until I added the price of a better wind screen, crash bars, better seat, bla bla bla...I bought the GSA for that reason. Dealer let a buddy and I test ride and we were hooked. I've ridden all kinds of bikes and this is by far my favorite. This bike is like a Jeep, I can do almost anything with it. I can't believe I didn't get into these bikes years ago.

I just had the 600 mile break in service done and I am headed from cave creek, AZ to Austin, TX via big bend national park and the Texas hill country. So far I LOVE this bike. CONGRATS.....wise purchase!

Hi guys

Picking up my new GSA on wednesday
I am looking for soft luggage to go on it without any major adaptations...
What is the brand of that grey duffle bag that can be seen on the back of the red GSA on the top of the page (Jeepin87) ?
Looking for something like that and also soft paniers.

Many thanks !

I use the Wolfman Rocky Mountain Saddlebags.
No modification needed.
The are great bags. 32 liter each and built to last.
I am very happy with them.

If I can I'll take some photos later to show how they look on the bike.

Hey Blubluer,

Here are some of the photos with the Rocky Mountain on the bike.
I hope they help. (I took them with my phone there are not the best quality pics).
The bags are empty and they hold the shape really nice.
Make sure when you buy it you also get a set of this:

the are needed for the installation.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Guys,

Been a lurker on here for a while, but thought I'd better sign up and say G'day since I just paid for and pick on Friday a new 14' F800GSA!

Went for the Sand Rover Uni Matt and a few options. Will probably have to wait until first service for a few of the options to be installed as some of the parts are on back order.

Went for the following factory options;
Enduro Package
ESA
Ally Panniers
Ally Top Box
Akrapovic Exhaust
Ally Skid Plate
GPS Mount (will buy a garmin 660LM later)

Will probably add a few myself later;
Headlight Protector
Radiator Guard
Upper Protection bars

Still not sure what ones to go with here...so feedback would be appreciated. :)

So stoked......can't hardly wait until Friday, feel like a Kid at the moment.

I went with the Hepco Becker, motomachines.com sells them. I have dropped the bike doing slow turn and figure 8 practice many times and they haven't budged. They seem very strong and I think they look good as well.

You don't ask us about color. You ask your wife.
