Thanks

Thanks Kirby for showing me the new trails and the pits. I hope I didn't slow you down too much. That XR650R can be quite exhausting fighting it down those tight single tracks!
Cheers

Lake Huron Around the Lake Trail

My buddy and I are considering the around the Lake Trail. It crosses at Sarnia to Sault Michigan/Saulte Ste Marie canada, Sudbury back to home.
It appears to be a three day ride.

Also the Parry Sound are has a lot of nice rides.

Manitoulin Island has a Rally going on at Providence Bay started today and goes to Sunday. Think I'll ride up tomorrow via Sudbury.

Actually, if you stay on I-75 the route is slightly shorter, and makes for a great IBA run.

wednesday ride

I'm good for wed for sure. Going to the sandpits.
We can meet at the corner of Stanley rd and Portage, I think there is an old community centre on the corner. I think this is the area 1bigrn was talking about?

I would recommend doing Southwood Road.

What's your schedule for the trip? I see your route is going to take you through Sarnia to the States. There's a couple of us FF's in the area & might get together for a refreshments & food if timing is right. Not sure of how of the well troden path you want to be but there are some great places to travel.

Transitwally had a great suggestion.

Thursday is good for me to ride again, 1bigrn and I rode on wed and these trails are awesome, winding and no ruts from atvs. had a blast and saw some deer out there and a car in the middle of the woods, how it got there? This is great spot to ride we could meet at the Regency on Mountain rd and trails are just on the other side of QEW. Anyone interested for thursday?
