Cool. I will be out front on a dr650. There is not a gas station on that corner anymore. South Side Walnut Cafe is the same parking lot as the Savers, west side of 93 just before Table Mesa.

Here is the route I had in mind...

MAP

For the Boulder folks, you can work it out for a meet up time but we will be coming through around 8:00 and will meet up with you here at the South Side Walnut Cafe. I figure we can head out from there and top off before going into the canyon.

I'm afraid I'm out; other commitments. By the way, this looks almost identical to the route we did Sunday, but in the other direction. Maybe a glitch in the mapping, but it looks like there a two places where you start to head off on backroads, but then re-trace to main roads: One at Switzerland Trail above Gold Hill, and again at the beginning of Oh My God (Virginia Canyon) above Central City.

Google maps didn't like the back roads... It should be fixed now.

Did Pennsylvania Gulch look clear (spur off the north side of Switz)?

Not sure which spur is Pennsylvania gulch but the rest of Switzerland was open and in good shape. You headed that way soon? When?

Prob will hit it soon. Penn is on my 'do over' list from when I started riding last year. Want to see if I can clean it now.

It might be a good 'after work' ride from Denver. I'd thought about going south to Rampart Range this PM, but could be talked into going up that way.

Cool, what time could you be in boulder by? How about up Left Hand Canyon to 5 points, then head down. Cut over lickskillet road to Switzerland trail to Pennsylvania gulch?

Probably can make it up there by 5:00 if I take 36.

Is there anywhere between Golden & Boulder to meet up and then run up Coal Creek Canyon to Ned then catch Switzerland the opposite direction? I've made the run up 36, but it's not on my list of fun things to do at rush hour.

We could meet at the Park and Ride lot at Coal Creek and 93. Does that work? 5:15? Up coal creek, around gross res to magnolia over to 4 mile so we go up Pen Gulch.
