A great weekend.

Fantastic ride down, thanks Howard. How you even found mud on a dry 37c day was impressive. Loved the last section of dirt sooooo much I nearly found a short cut to the campsite

The food, music, dancing (who was the tall grey bearded man doin the twist ?) What I really liked was the great mood of the place.

Well done !!

And I had a great solo ride home. Awesome

Wink

What a great weekend!
Neil, Nick & Waitsey...you guys did an awesome job. Many thanks for all of your hard work.

That was my first, and the feedback from Vince's road riders group was extremely positive. In short, they had a ball, and were surprised at the welcoming vibe, friendship, and how well the event was organised. At least one guy (John) was very interested in what "Adventure Riders" do, and after a walk around the drag strip checking out the variety of bikes, was planning to research "what bike should I buy?".

Thanks also to the Disco Queen, pyrotechnic specialists, stunt riders (special thanks must also go to "Loose 360 degrees Bruce"", for his outstanding demonstration of what shouldn't be possible without rotor blades....

Can't wait for the next one...

I'll leave you with two words......curry.......midnight....

Poster Boy/Mascot

Howard it looks like you are still it, there was a good chance of having a new poster boy/mascot on our Saturday morning ride.
We were less than 10 minutes off the bitumen before there were 4 bikes lying on their sides, 2 injured riders, all stuck in various positions up the side of a hill.

Number of pictures taken, absolutely zero, mmm.

No-one was seriously injured in this stunt and Neil can recommend a mix of anti- inflammatory's, alcohol and early 80's dance music to cure twisted ankles.

I couldn't sleep either, every time I shut my eyes I had a vision of some bloke walking around in a sleeping bag with the bottom cut out, I remembered seeing something similar on Foxtels " taboo " program about adults in nappies, Dave Ward you are one sick bastard !!!
