You're right about the hill climb.

I'm fairly sure there is no Hillclimb this year, work being done up on the hill means venue isn't available. You'd have to check with the AVCMCC.

that is correct Dave, but we wanted to have the OCBR on the same weekend every year, so if we establish it on the 2nd weekend no-one gets confused ( none of us getting any younger ) I'm easily confused now, and I'm only a youngster, but then again I've killed off quite a few brain cells in a short time, not that I had many to start with.

Bringing it forward one week this year would suit me fine.

Something in the back of my mind is saying that we needed to avoid the Blues Festival as well though, and that goes back to the first OCBR. I can imagine that given accomodation etc is hard to come by on the festival weekend that Sunnyside Reserve may be a little crowded.

Could always get Howard to run slalom through their tents to frighten em off I suppose.

I make the half century that week so I might be really celebrating this year, not just practicing like previous years.

Sorry boys

Should have been onto this earlier. But heh,

I've been formally advised by the CEO of the Shire of Bridgetown to choose a different weekend.

Last night what started as my "leader of the opposition" bending my ear about a clash with her sisters birthday party, turned into the realisation the the weekend of the 9th is the weekend of the Blues festival and the place will be packed.

Anyway, after talking to a few inmates I'm going to suggest the following weekend, 16th and 17th. I know a few guys can't do the week before and it does give us an extra week to organise new leave passes.

I'll tip an extra box of beer into the esky.

I'm good, it's my birthday that weekend, got a year on you Howard, so I suppose that means that I should tip in a carton as well

You need to give up work Jim. It seems to be interfering with your riding.
