Well guys and gals,

30 days and nearly 5000 miles later, we've arrive at Port Orford and the end of the Trans America Trail! It's a heavy moment, with lots of emotions. We're still trying to process it all and will be getting a ride report to you shortly, but in the meantime there's a little bit on the last day on my blog at www.thetransamerican.com with more pictures to come. You're welcome to check stuff out there if you're interested.

In the meantime, I wanted to make a special thank you to all the people who made this ride possible in both material contribution and in encouragement. For myself, specifically Speedmonkey7, but there are so many others who have helped through advice and good vibes. Thank you all very very much.

It looks like we're continuing our ride South - to Mexico. Stay tuned here for more tales of the road. The adventure isn't over!

Baja is for Tourists and Rich Gringo Buggy Dudes! Real ADV riders ride to Oaxaca for lunch!

If you need tips on Mexico just shout out. Lots of good info ... especially over on the Latin America forum or on Horizon's Unlimited HUBB forums.
Certain good Do's and Don't for traveling Mexico and further South. And of course, Crashmaster's No Fumar thread is a "must read"!
All the best!

Congratulations! Upward and onward! Err wait I guess that's downward and onward! You're very welcome swift. It wasn't much but figured they'd help. If you're near Santa Barbara July 7-11 I'll be down there. We can go have drinks at the cold springs tavern! :
