Question Strange Front brake lever "feeling" 990 ADV 2008 ABS

Hello Everyone , well I bought My bike a 2008 990 adv 2008 abs , with 30.000 kms on the clock,It was love at first sight , whent to a few trips arround the mountains and everything OK , the other day my brother did a quick spin on a gravel road and on my way back I notice the front brake level is hard the first couple of Centimeters and then is normal , also it does not do it all the time , the rest of the time is normal , What do you suggest it can be the issue? Thanks For your advice!

Come on KTM Gurus , I know you can help me , I was thinking on the sensation of the lever described above and it feels like a worn brake cable of the older bikes. hope it helps to describe it!

I was getting a strange hard feeling.

It came out to be the ABS was operating and that gave me a hard feeling.
Also make sure your system is bled properly.
Cheers.

With the ABS system and the way the brakes are plumbed it is likely something in the ABS pump itself. Probably not anything wrong with it but I noticed that it felt "wooden". I know that's a term that everyone uses but it felt like I had a piece of wood that I could compress (like when you put a nail in a piece of pine, you can put the nail in so far by hand) and then it would go away and act like normal.

I pulled the ABS system and put on standard brake lines (for other reasons) and the feeling went away.
