Monday 4th June

Time to go home so you can guess what the weather was like,





grrr.

Setting off, Nigel heading north,



and me south I thought I'd take advantage of the, as it turned out mostly, dry and sunny weather to head across country through the Yorkshire Dales,















finally arriving in Ripon,



before blasting down the A1.



Since it was a nice day and I was making good progress I got off the motorways and enjoyed the last 100 or so miles of my journey,







and despite the weather a splendid weekend, good company, good food, good beer and good bike rides, what more could one ask for?



Roll on next year (actually like I said at the beginning I'm a bit late with this, it's 4 weeks away and we have our tickets!).
