Looking for a backpack that holds a helmet

I'm about to head off on another flight and I'm looking for a backpack that I can take as carry on luggage and will hold an Arai XD3. Any suggestions?

I know cortech made a nice backpack with a pouch that would roll out to carry a full face helmet. I use mine a lot for shopping so my hands are free.

This is specifically designed for bikers.. doesn't have alot of inside room for use as a carry-on for long trips. It's more for day trip bike rides, and storying your stuff while you are off the bike...

or post there asking Mike. Kriega are generally considered the best backpacks for actual riding.

You reminded me of a time that I flew to Chicago to pick up a bike. I had my helmet in the standard Shoei helmet bag that comes with the lid. Everyone was so crabby on that flight, midway through, I put my helmet on until we were 10 minutes out.

So, if you are flying to Chicago, I'd say save your money.

For a fly-n-rides I just use the draw string bag that came with the helmet(HJC and Shoei) as a carry-on. Plenty of room inside the helmet for ziplock w/toothpaste, brush etc. The riding gear I ship ahead of time via UPS/USPS.

I know it's not technically a backpack, but it comes with shoulder straps to use it as one. The North Face Base Camp duffle is water resistant, packs down small, has lots of points to strap to a bike, works as a backpack, and is made tough as heck despite being from The North Face.

The small size one should hold a helmet plus a few clothes, toiletries, and fit as a carry on. It's 12x12x20. My XD4 is about 11x11x15. I would pack your helmet in it's helmet bag for a little extra protection.

You can see it with backpack straps here.

They pack well on bikes if you dont want them on your back.
