So two Italians and a Brit walk into a bar...

With my lovely wife and kids visiting the in-laws down in Florida I set off with my brother and a friend to the Adirondack Mountains for 4 days of riding and shenanigans. Accompanying us were 5 GoPro cameras and one high speed video camera for some cool slow-mo movies. Any pics you see of us riding without helmets are for the short film we made for kicks. All riding sans helmet was done on a closed road and we understand all the risks. Please PM me with any negative feedback rather than post it here.

Now are you ready??? Here we go...

Meet the Riders. Tom (myself), Willis, and Christobal.

Now the bikes: The Goose, Black Dawn, and Redbird.

Rather than shoot up the highway for the 200 mile ride, we took nearly 300 miles of scenic backroads turning it into an awesome 6 hour trip.

Day One wouldn't be complete without a stop at Oscar's in Warrensburg and some grilled steaks for dinner. This place has some of the best meat and cheeses I've ever tasted!

Throw in some Stilton Bleu and smoked summer sausage and you've got yourself a meal!

Ended the night with some of the good stuff and got ready for a long day on the bikes tomorrow...

Day Two... we did about a 300 mile loop with several stops along the way. Our daily routine was to fish and hang and work on our short film, and then head out for a few hundred miles in the early afternoon. Temps dropped to the low 40s so the boys without windscreens were a bit frozen.

Somewhere along route 28

We made a pitstop at The Place along Route 8 to check the map...

"If you ever question my directions again I'm gonna smack your face off."

Then we ran into some crazy ass locals!

And when we saw the hand grenades we tried to run...

And barely escaped the mayhem...

So we jumped on our bikes and peeled out, hoping for a normal ride the next day...

Day 3...

After our daily ritual of Haggis for breakfast and filming our short movie for a few hours, we head out in the warmer afternoon temps for another 300 mile loop.

Haggis... one of the best foods ever created!

It was still a tad bit cold...

The boys without windscreens wanted to know when it was going to warm up.

As per one of our favorite Ride Reporters Antihero, I used old socks to make myself some handy wristwarmers. My Aerostich Falstaff has sleeves that are about 2 inches too short when in the riding position. They worked like a charm.

We make a pitstop at a house where Teddy Roosevelt stayed on his way to his presidential inauguration. Pretty neat place...

Leave two stuntmen alone for a few minutes and they get into all sorts of trouble...

I'm pretty sure we were being watched from one of the windows...

Treading carefully on the spooky grounds of the long abandoned house.

Anyone know a good contractor?

A little gold bling never hurt anyone...

My brother's choice of where to pee had me confused...I grabbed the camera with the hopes of him flying backwards through the air in a puff of sparks and smoke.

On the last day we had our haggis and filmed the last few shots for the movie...

Yup that's a flying Griso... with smoke bombs!

Gonna be a tough ride home with no clutch hand!

On the way up we took all backroads, but on the way home we just blasted down the highway. The highway rest areas were a happy place for the guys on the Griso and MV. On my Tiger I feel like I can ride forever. The engine is amazing the bike itself is like multiple bikes in one.

It was an awesome weekend had by all. One of the most fun trips I've had in a while. The video will eventually be posted to YouTube.. I'll attach a link whenever it's up (it'll be a while). Hope you enjoyed the ride report.

This part has me confused. Nobody told me I was 200 highway miles from Sunny Florida all winter????

Cool pics. Thanks for supporting the remnants of the local economy.

I live in Jersey.. 200 miles south of Lake George, NY. Rather than just blast up 87 we took all backroads.

Maybe I made it sound as if I was in Florida too? Anyway, been going to the Lake George area for over 30 years... can't get enough of it up there.

Yeah the 500 Mile one. I'll have to look up whatever others you've got.

Yeah, that's the current one. The other one was an overnight trip to find a bridge in NorCal.

The video is up, boys! Might be the last motorcycle movie you'll ever need to watch...
