Pucky Huddle Video

Awesome video Bill.
Bill did some very creative things with his go-pro. Watch the video again and try to figure out how he got some of those shots.
He must have had a little pygmy running along the side of him. You know---one of those pygmy people.

And who is that fat old white man in the video ?????
And why is he riding a great big ego busting 250 when a 175 would have been so much better, lighter and faster ???????
And how come he's so slow---you think he'd know how to ride by now ?????
And where is this "Pucky Huddle" ??????
How did you get anywhere with that old man having to pee all the time

And Bill------------did you leave that rock for the next guy ?????
I bet Sieg put that rock there. He's still laughing about that I bet.

BigDog

Great video Bill, you are creative with the shots you do. Just remember to keep the wheels on the ground.

Ha.. Me and BigDog compared averages.. and he was like 2 mph higher than me.. but I can't remember what they were.. haha! we poked around a lot too, took a hike off the trail looking for a spring...

We gotta go back and do more hiking when the brush is dead.. hehe.. it sure is neat to find these things out in the middle of nowhere..

Spring

I think it was one of our highlights to find that spring-----as many of you know I have several hundreds springs in Missouri in my gps-----------many I've not been to----------we were just riding along and there was one of those spring waypoints I'd loaded years ago. I knew I hadn't found this one and we went looking for it. We found the run off of it but the bush was so thick and we where in motocross boots we never got to the actual spring.
But it was flowing a lot of water. We were very close to it tho.
Sometimes those spring waypoints I have are spot on---and occassionally there are a couple hundred feet off. It' so fun finding them.
It's sometimes very easy to spot spring water---as it will have green vegetation growing in it------even in the winter.

Question Want to but fearful

Man that looks like a blast of a ride. I use to ride stuff like that all of the time but it has been a while now. I now have a TR650 and want to get in with a group but I sure don't want to slow anyone down.

Any suggestions on some warm up training rides?

Viva de two five O

Great video boys! I just bought back my 2008 wr250r from Timmy Time. He got a little smaller and heavy farkled 09 KLX250. Big Dog if you know anyone who wants or needs a terra 650 with 650 miles on it I know where to get one for super cheap. It went down in Colorado and surance company says totaled
But if some one can live with scratches mechanically its perfect see you on the trail. Chances are I got some moonshine in my primus bottle

And maybe some bonus “Big Boy” not big bike sections. There is a motel in St Gen., Microtel Inn & Suites, and one out on I 55 at Mo. highway “J”, Regency Inns & Suites for your start/finish. Tentatively the date is set at September 28 & 29 2013. I’ll post some pictures and highlights of the pre-ride and I'm sure the other pre-riders will chime in.

Still tentative or this date set as a firm one? Sieg, if you need any help with something on this ride let me know. Its always a lot for leaders to set up these trips and have others come for just the easy part... riding! :)

Just back from street riding on a 4 days Deals gap area ride.. Always work planning and keeping the group organized.. Nice relief to ride with like minded organized planners!

wondering about the date also

A couple guys from our group on the 2-day ride and a couple guys from work are planning to do the Pucky Huddle Breakfast Run. Would it be better to have the date September 21 and 22 when the VTRA is already open for ride weekend?
