Motorcycle rental LA

Coming to LA in august and thinking of maybe rent a Harley for two days to drive highway 1 to San Fransico. Can anyone her give me advise on a good rental company in LA.
Wich place in LA is the best to stay the weekend for two europen guys in theyr early 30`s that still feel like theyr 20

When comming to San Fransico we will drop the bikes and go by car to Las Vegas,San Diego and back to LA.
We would realy like to rent a 60-70`s clasic cab, but i understand that it can be difficult to find and more expensiv then a newer cab?.
Any suggestions?

For the bike, this is very close to LAX. http://www.eaglerider.com/losangeles/

I've never heard of classic cab rental(you may be on to something though). BUT, I did find classic car rental, http://www.bhrentacar.com/vehicles/c...s_angeles.html

Now, what route are you taking to SF? You mentioned Hwy 1, but there are parts you don't need to be on. Have you looked into it as of yet? Are you looking for any touring help? What kinda time frame have you have for the whole trip?

I am sorry, i meant convertible not cab, i forgot that cab is taxi in the states.
Thanks for the link, as i thought it was expensive and we will probebly stick to newer and cheaper rental cars like a Mustang convertible.

We will have a couple of days under 3 weeks for the trip.
And no, i havent look to much in to the highway1, i just asumed that it was a senic road all the way from LA to SF, so any help on is much appreciated.

Our basic tought for this trip is LA-SF-LV and if we have time left we wil add San Diego.
We are just starting out our reasearch of what to do and what to see, so any input is appreciated.

For the cab, most big rental car companies have cabriolet mustangs. Makes sure you ask for a convertible. Hertz, Avis, enterprise......

They look like the one to use, only thing is that it costs almost 300$ extra if you pick up the bike in LA and drop it of in SF, but i guess thats about the same price other rental companies charge to.

It will probably be a newer Mustang that we rent, ahh august cant come fast enough
