2011 gear up price check

I found a 2011 gear up with less then 1000 KM on it. Firm price is 11,500. It is in very good condition with Harley seat added.
Is this a fair price?

Sounds decent to me. Might wanna ask on http://www.sovietsteeds.com/
which is pretty much a dedicated Ural site.

Rule of thumb is about $1K per year for the first 2-3 years with condition up or down. Retail was $13K or so. That puts it $11 to $12K.
If you are wanting a Ural I would be on that like a duck on a June bug.

New price was $14,000. Harley Seat and mount (From Gene at Holopaw $250).

So sounds like a good price. One question is was it run on a regular basis (just short rides) or has it been sitting? Look inside the tank for rust (courtesy of ethanol). Any dealer close that could check it for you?

Remember it's essentially brand new so full break-in procedures are in order.

Have fun

Thanks for the advice. I have wanted one for a while but have been unable to pull the trigger.
I made the mistake of taking this one for a test ride and it was a blast!
My dogs would love it as well. Just need to convince the better half.

Price is pretty good if the rig is good. A lot of people don't top off the oil, and run it dry. Or never ride it and let the gas go bad.

Today looks a good day to buy that Gear Up. Will it be you or someone else playing with it this weekend?

I am afraid it will be someone else this weekend. Work is slow right now and do not need to add any debt.
