Out of hiberbation wierdness
Did a few things to the 950 over the winter, finally rolled it out the basement door tonight.
Lengthened carb vent lines with T to run up to the headlights and down to the bashplate for high water.
The bike only runs on full choke. Like its very lean. Take choke off at all, bike dies. Tough the throttle, bike dies. Immediately.
Could lengthening the carb vent lines cause this?
If not, I'll check all the other obvious things (carbs not fully seated or some other air leak. )
"There isn't any secret," he said. "It's all very obvious."

Carbs + Sitting over winter = clogged carbs. You need to pull out the low speed fuel screws and the low speed jets and clean them.
"Dad, can I get a motorcycle when I grow up?"
"Son, you can't do both"
