Thanks guys...yeah, seems a bit too risky....but they look pretty cool.

probably a cool rolling chassis--Cannondale already had experience building those and spec'd top parts, but you'd probably want to put a different motor, etc. in it.

RE: Cannondale MX400

I've got to admit that an aluminum frame, fuel injection, and primo suspension sounds VERY tempting....

VERY tempting....

Too bad it is not a japanese bike....

I wonder why the price is soooooo low????

Do you think he'd trade up for the DRZ 400 I just bought Friday?

Looks like it would take lots of effort to get it plated.

Not in Colorado. All you need is a brake light (either hand or foot actuated), bicycle horn, headlight (no high beam needed), mirror and DOT tires. No inspection - you just swear that it has that stuff. You'll also need a VIN verification, available at any car or MC dealer.

Titled XR650R, only 1,000 miles

Check out http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/295177321.html .

Looks like it has all the right stuff and was treated gently. Now it just needs a larger tank and tail rack and . . ..
