My K1200LT had cruise control... my Dad's goldwing 1800 did too.

Pretty nice for when you are having to put down some miles

If anyone is wondering what this is all about.. read Steverino's thread in orange crush about his trying to repair this. The welder warped his cases and he ended up having to do a bare cases up rebuild.
If you are comfortable with that type of work (or enjoy it) this could be a great deal (assuming the rest of the bike is ok) !

Depending on how bad the crack above the side stand is.. you might get away with a JBweld patch for a while even (like Steverino did).

I emailed the guy, it's a "hole the size of a small piece of gum" and does not hold oil at all. If I had the time I'd be all over it.

I have a 1985 Honda XR600 basket case. I bought it with the idea of restoring it, but have since given up. It is a complete bike minus the side panels. It comes with some new parts that I bought along the way including a new seat cover and fork seals that I have not installed. I have an extra frame and an extra pair of fork legs. I will post pics soon, but I am not sure how much that will really help - it is an XR600 in many pieces. The plastics are faded and rough. The tank is aftermarket and oversized, but I don't know how big it is. The engine is mostly disassembled (case is not split). Most parts have been cleaned and are stored in zip lock bags. Great for spare parts or OK for a rebuild if you already know XR600's.

$50 takes everything - cash or credit card. Call or text Rob at 303-522-7627.

Looks like the CL ad is gone. For 50 bucks that sucker would have been mine! Oh well.

That's a great deal if you have the space and time for a winter project.

Sheepshagger's 950SE had a sidestand induced cracked case - he tore it down and had the cases welded up at a shop that knows what they're doing.
Good as new now.

I lusted over this bike for a day... I'm afraid the I'd end up wanting something with more umph eventually. No mirrors currently on the bike though? I'd be terrified to ride on the street without mirrors.

And others have turned in a insurance claim on their cracked motor. And had it fixed at a dealer.
