This won't last if it's a legit deal. The bike is worth the asking price in parts alone.
Even at $3800 I would suspect a scam. I'm guessing you wont be able to look at this bike but the seller probably has ready to to ship to your door

no phone number in the ad either, doesn't lend much creedence to it being legit if there's no nearby area code to give you a warm fuzzy.

can't believe it hasn't been flagged yet.

WYSIWYG

1981 Honda Goldwing. It looks nothing like you would expect.

Clear Title, Reliable, Starts, Runs and Stops great. There are well over $1000 in parts in the bike. Don't ask me why I did it. I just had to get it out of my system. Here are a few thing you will want to know:

New Parts:
Tires
Battery
Timing Belts
Full Carb rebuild
Fresh Oil filter and fluids
Fork Seals
Steel braided Brake lines
Air Filter
Starter
Wheel bearings
Spark plug wires and plugs
Headlights and tails light (No Turn Signals this baby is hand signal only)

Other:
Valves adjusted
Swing arm serviced and greased
Shaft drive serviced and greased
Yamaha R1 Dual Exhaust

Consider this- If you own a GL1100 this bike could be set aside for tires, parts, battery, carbs and a starter. That's a $1000 right there.

Test rides OK if you have a motorcycle endorsement, you must bring and wear a helmet, I will hold your car keys, while you are gone.

I think he meant to say "There are well over $1000 in parts missing from this bike"

Some people shouldn't be allowed to own motorcycles.

at least there are mountains and pine trees around it, most of the scams pictures have palm trees around. If it is a scammer they must be putting a little more effort into the ads.

I doubt there ever was a title. Offer him $350, if you can store it for me until I get up there next month.

So I'm thinking of snatching this thing up tomorrow. My son graduated high school and soon off to military college, nice little gift don't you think? Clear title and registration. Pretty solid bike as I've been told. What do you all think?

1997 Honda XR 250, 6 spd. Legally registered for on-road operation (“R-“ license plate). Very good intermediate-to-beginner bike. Very good for technical trailriding! Lots of torque. Clear title. Engine does not burn or leak oil – tight! Bored to 280cc, bark-busters, rear tool bag. Everything works (headlight, taillight, odometer). Front shock seals have been replaced. Sale includes factory Honda Service Manual and original Owner’s Manual. $1000. Thanks for looking.

saw that earlier this week, Tony----bike belongs to Mark, a big NMOHVA member. Obviously, it's clean as a whistle, and a great deal at 1K!
