I've been seeing these things everywhere. Might have something to do with it getting 150mpg. I think the guy lives south of downtown, so probably not up on Fillmore unless he sold it.

Come to think of it, that's the first motorcycle I ever rode. My parents bought a pair of them to ride around the dirt roads "up north" in Michigan. Maybe 1976 or so? Very vivid memories of those weekends and those bikes.

My uncle has one buried in his barn. It is brown, trail 90 and very old. He would not even talk about selling it and he is 78 years old. Some day he will pass and I will beg the children to let me buy it or something. As a kid, my parents bought me an ST Trail 90, just like the infamous trail 70 but bigger. A local dealer sold a yellow one in mint condition for $1400 I think.

1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 A2 SUPER NICE VINTAGE BIKE - $6500 (Evergreen)

I bought my dad a '71 Trail 90 in the mid 80's. It was Summer Yellow, in mint condition with a few hundred miles on it....for like $400.
He was retired and living up in the Sierra Nevada mtns and used it to ride around his little town, but he didn't put many miles on it.
I could have had it when he passed away in '92 but I didn't really want it then. I was already an XR snob by then

nice bike....but get real with that price!

I am selling a 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000. I bought this bike from the original owner.
This bike runs great and just had over $800 in maintenance done, carbs cleaned and synched,
fork seals done, new coils, new oil filter with oil change and new points.
This is an all original bike with 11k miles and original paint.
This bike has the factory owners manual and tool kit included as well as period correct Kerker exhaust that sounds amazing.
The tires are in good shape, this bike is ready to ride or show.
You would be hard pressed to find a nicer original bike

Nope, just driving by, saw one that looked similar to the one here on the way to meet up with Modette. The spring is nice, the south springs is really, really nice. Sort of odd that the city has fallen on hard times.

I opened that up not expecting that price tag. Wow. Must be some real KZ1000's lovers out there.
