It does sound like a good price but two questions come to mind: has it had the junction box rebuilt or replaced yet, and, is it still running the 16" rear wheel requiring a damned hard to find 16" touring tire?
These bikes have some well known quirks and some very good vendors who address them.
I can't make out the yellow font on this iPhone.

**1976 Honda MR175 Elsinore-fully restored & Beautiful** - $1250 (West Side)

http://cosprings.craigslist.org/mcy/3381833770.html

I have decided to sell my MR175. I just do not have the time to ride it and hate to see it waste away in the garage.
It has been fully restored and has only 975 actual miles! It has new DOT rated tires, new chain, grips, paint etc.
Let me be clean- it does NOT have a title.. 2 stroke dirt bikes of that era were mainly classified as off road use only.
However, after researching with Colorado department of revenue, a title can be obtained with a little work.
The only things this bike lacks for the requirements are side reflectors and an operable horn.
I have just not had the time to put into it. It would make a great commuter around town and save a bunch of $$ on fuel!
I have over $1800 invested in this bike over the last year, and willing to part with it for $1250.
You will not find another around here as clean as it! Come take a look and you won't be disappointed!

The Connie technology is long outdated but the bikes are simple and reliable and love big miles.
Several 17" rear wheel options are available.
I just rode mine 3700 miles in rain and snow and ice and wind and it seemed unaffected by any of it.

Not mine. No affiliation with the owner or the ad, and I don't know anything about the bike. But this thing has me sorely tempted...

That old CX looks to be a great buy! Assuming it has a clear title and it runs... you should go take it for a test-ride! If I had a spare $1000 Id go look myself!

1976 Suzuki TS-400 Enduro/dual sport - $1100 (Arvada)

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3389961522.html

I have a very nice old school 1976 Suzuki TS-400 enduro.
Everything is in great shape for its age, and it runs excellent.
It has 9k miles, has a title, and is fully street legal except turn signals.

If you haven't already read it, there's a very funny story here about the MX version of this bike.

Always been a sucker for old Yammies...

"Want to trade my 1981 Yamaha Seca 550 for a Dual Sport (KLR, DR650, XR650, BMW F650, etc) plus cash on my end. Mine has new tires this summer, new chain, runs well, ~32k miles. I'm getting the seat recovered. Let me know what you have and the cash difference."
