Yep, I got it. She's in my garage now thawing out. Tomorrow is the initial cleaning, basic checks (fluids, pressures, etc), and then maybe a spin around the block. I know she runs and runs well...just want to check her out before I head out...trailer rides can sometimes bring out the worst in bikes. Yes I know she's missing a front turn signal...the previous owner said he was going down the highway and it just flew off.

...probably vibrated loose. Got a couple of matching spares in one of the many boxes of parts. I just hope I don't vibrate loose and fly off on the highway!

Here she is on the trailer on the way home.

Rarely do I fall in love with a bike(ok, not 100% true) but that bike is absolutely beauiful. It has a ton of character. Love it!!!

I saw the ad for that one. It looks great, but it's not my style at all. The one I just got is exactly what I was looking for. The PO of my Yammy told me that he wanted a Triumph Scrambler, but didn't want to spend the money for a new one, so he built the one I just bought. I was in the same boat...I LOVE the Scrambler, but didn't want to pay for a new one.

Agreed...square/rectangular stand-alone headlights just don't do it for me on bikes. If they're faired in, I'm ok with them. And on cars, they don't bother me at all. But on a bike...I'd be immediately looking for a round replacement.

Someone says something that differs from what you think and the only thing you can target is the fact that he is in, or from Texas.

I would say that is a "Colorado thing", but since I have been here I have run into nothing but the nicest people who do not hold it against me for transferring here from Texas. So it must just be you.

I think what he wrote was lame, but it ain't because he is from Texas.
