Hopefully some of the "four figures" are to the right of the decimal point!! WTF is that and why?? Damned nascar fans are ummmm....interesting! I am all for pit bikes but c'mon... Maybe if it had a front fender it would be worth it...

I kinda like the color...to me it adds to the vintage appeal of it. Sure, black is classy and elegant, and black makes any chrome work just pop really beautifully. But that light tan/ivory/eggshell/whatever the heck you want to call it is pretty cool...not a color that you see on current bikes.

1970 Moto Guzzi - $3250 (Henderson)

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3414995461.html

1970 Moto Guzzi Ambassador 750cc 4-speed

Bike runs very well and is in very good original condition with only 41,911 miles. The only non-original part on this bike is the wiring harness for the lights and turn signals.

This bike's engine design, a transverse V-Twin, was based on the Italian military's Mulo Meccanica. The bike has a loop frame. It was originally built for use by the military, police, and postal service and was offered to the public in 1969.

The red and white color scheme of this bike was uncommon in the U.S.

Serviced in March 2012:
Replaced all fluids (transmission, oil, crankcase, fork)
Stiffer front fork springs added
Progressive Suspension added in the rear
Rebuilt carburetors
New battery
Generator replaced
New tires

Following ORIGINAL items included:
Front fork springs
Rear suspension
Foot peg rubbers and grips
Del Orto carburetors
Silentium exhaust
Lucas reflectors
Veglia gauges
Tool kit

Bike originally sold by Harry's Motors, Inc., Denver, Colorado.

Nice bike, Marc ;) That's a good deal for someone. You including the wolfman bags with the sale? Curious how you mounted those... Did you need to do anything to the bike to keep them secured?

Not planning on giving up the bags or the GPS but who knows. I just strapped them on the frame and the passenger footpegs. So what if they touch the exhaust, the shrouds are plastic and don't get hot.

Someone buy it please so I can transfer the plates and insurance to the new toy.

Oh and PM answered.

Marc

vintage??? KLR.....

87 Klr650 (reduced price) - $800 (Socorro)

Date: 2012-11-17, 1:59PM MST
5vt9g-3380816349@sale.craigslist.org[Errors when replying to ads?]

Reduced asking price by $400. Just want it gone, need some cash.

1987 Kawasaki klr650 for sale. Bought it as a project bike, fixed it up and rode it all summer long before I decided I'd rather have a street bike. Its an 87, so it does have its share of minor problems. It could use a new brake lever (bent, but usable) and the sight glass is cracked, its about time for a new sprocket and chain, and could use a new front tire. Got a new rear tire and tube a few hundred miles ago. Locking gas cap is a bit finicky, but works. I had to unscrew it once to fill it. Gets around 150-200 miles before reserve and somewhere around 45 mpg on regular gas. Hasn't been ridden lately so I need to charge the battery before its ridden again.
Previous owner said he used to drive it up to Colorado, and I've taken it as far as Pecos, but mostly used for around town. Great on dirt or road.
A little rough around the edges, but ready to be driven home.
$800 or best offer. Possibly interested in trades plus cash

Nice!

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3416043833.html

1951 Matchless G80S (Lakewood co)

This is a museum quality restoration that was done 10 years ago.
It was restored in Australia by Graham Goodwin and looks new.
This bike came in to this country in 2003 and was run but not
ridden very much. It has been in a privet collection and a show
bike but not started in a wile. I has not had gas in the tank or
carb but has been lubed and turn over regularly. IT DOES RUN!
but has not been started in 9 years. This is a very rare bike must
be seen . If you don't know anything about British bikes I will not
start this bike for fun.No test rides Cash only this is a nice bike.
Every thing was redone except the throttle and exhaust system .
The bike had 8 k on it when it was redone so it was a nice bike to
begin with . *****I AM TAKING OFFERS ON THIS BIKE****
******************IT WILL BE ON EBAY*************

Full refund it it doesn't run the way I say it does. If your inquiry sounds like bs ...

That CB750 is gorgeous. Note, the owner covers his sports cars INSIDE his garage. That's a good sign.
