Must Sell Honda XR 650R - $1500 (Denver)

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3492691092.html

Pretty sure that's an IMS tank, it's not the big Acerbis for sure...

I am headed to Central America and I NEED to sell this bike ASAP.
It is almost completely stock besides an uncork kit, hand guards and an Acerbis extended tank.
I would like to keep it and work on it when I get back like I originally planned to do with this bike but am in a cash crunch and need the money.

The bike is titled and road legal, with plates.
She needs a little love at the moment as I havent ridden her since September.
I am taking a loss on money at this price as well, and the blue book is $2,200.

Reply to: see below

1972 Honda CT-70 trail mini bike . Great Christmas gift! Or make it a father son restore project this winter. . I got it NOT running , dirty and ugly. She needs a whole lotta work , but i got her as far as i could without tearing any originality out . Thats your job now!. She starts on the first kick now. Sweet purring idle. The shifting just needs the final tweak to get her perfect. Gets up and down the street nice. Got her up to about 40 mph. 3 speed automatic transmission. We could use the cash now for Christmas , so i am motivated to sell it in the next couple of days. Dont let the guy who actually called and made an offer beat you to it. These are are rare and hard to find in this condition without paying more than 700 for it. So 450 or quickest best offer! Thanks a lot for looking and Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please call or text Chris at 5oh5-9for8-017for

From Bring a Trailer, but the truck is in Ft. Collins.

Well-Sorted 1963 Nissan Patrol 4×4

This Nissan Patrol L60 4×4 (chassis L60300819B) was purchased earlier this year in neglected condition and brought back up to the sharp looking status shown here by the seller, who dedicated most of his summer to this truck. Most of these Patrols we find are tattered or left for dead, but a select few have been restored or sorted like this one. We have only seen about 4 really nice examples in the last five years, this being one of them, and we like how this seller has gently modified the truck for better drivability, power, safety, and a tougher appearance. It is available in Fort Collins, Colorado for $18,500.

The L60 indicates left-hand-drive specification, and the seller says that about 4,000 were imported to the USA, of which 700 or so were soft tops. The canvas Safari soft top was custom designed as well as the roll bar system to which it attaches. The gear rack on top finishes it off well and allows for mounting the Hi-Lift jack. This was a factory hardtop model, but those parts are long gone, so we’d either run it with only this Safari set-up or source a factory soft top and bows. Safety was a concern for making this a good street driver, so new shoulder, seat, and lap belts were installed. The seller’s goal was to bring it up to the level of a reasonable daily driver for someone but still keep the original character of the “Old Patrol,” So some originality was sacrificed to make it safe and drivable. New tires that are larger and bigger wheels, so it is not stock in that respect but much more usable and practical. Brakes are great and put on new shocks, this is the original suspension system and it is heavy duty but rides well.

The seller dedicated his entire summer to this truck, and thanks the guys at Bull Hide 4×4 in Fort Collins for their assistance. The searching out parts consumed a ton of time, but he says it was worth it. Unlike old Land Cruisers, you can’t just order up everything you need from a catalog for these Patrols. Restoration and parts sourcing involves finding parted trucks and scouring the web.

Original miles on the title say 24,035 and he has only added about 75 miles while rebuilding and testing different parts of the truck. He reworked the dashboard and installed new switches for the wipers and heater motor along with a courtesy light. The upholstery was replaced and new seals in the gas tank sending unit were added. All the vents, of which there are 5, 3 under the windshield and one on each side by your feet, were rebuilt.

that doesn't sound bad for $4k, given that a new Service Honda CR500AF runs $10,499.

you'd probably have the only one on the block too

I have always wanted one of those kits. Not on a KTM though. Id keep the KTM locked up and throw it on a XR or something.

A little pricey for that kit, but man it'd be fun.

That is a sweet 500. I've got something like it waiting for Spring. '85 SRX 600. Not for sale though.

I haven't seen the bike, but I know the guy selling it. It's strange how some guys sell their bikes when they get engaged. He's also selling that little Trail 90 in the background.
